Pastoral / NonProfit Leadership

“Over the past 10 years Michael has gained professional management experience in a number of for-profit and non-profit positions.  The ease with which he has moved between these sectors is evidence of a fundamental understanding of human behavior and the leadership required to inspire personnel to move their organizations toward higher achievement.”  - E. Arthur Self, Dean of School Business, Northwest University

Michael is a leader who is passionately committed to spiritual growth and to the empowerment and equipping of the church. He pastored a multi-cultural rural church which grew to have four weekend services and a team of lay pastors and volunteers who serve in the ministries on a weekly basis. Michael has a spiritual gift mix of leadership, wisdom, teaching, and administration. He has a passion for reaching our culture for Christ and helping Christians to become more fully-devoted and better equipped followers of Jesus Christ. A mission oriented leader, Michael desires to see beneficial outcomes in the community and church. He fully embraces the “every member a minister” value and functions best in team environments.

He served as a liaison between faith-based, private and governmental relief efforts and served a three year term assisting in the recovery of the victims of that fire.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do,and he will show you which path to take. Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil. Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones. Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine."  - Provebs 3:5-10 NLT
